The best of Ernest Holmes‘ written work is laid out for sampling, displaying his wisdom as it broadened and deepened over his long writing life. Students gain a holistic awareness of Ernest‘s thought and come to see that many of their modern, topical questions about applying the Science of Mind were addressed by our founder himself at one time or another . The class promises to be a lively one! This is because some fairly controversial material is included—nothing really incendiary, since that isn't who Ernest Holmes was—but some material on hot topics like addictions and sexuality, plus deliberately provocative questions for class discussions, taken from some occasions where Ernest seemed to contradict himself. These are presented not to provoke us not to make your life difficult, but rather they are designed to clarify our thinking.

Tuition is $190 and the 10 week class is facilitated by Rev. Kristin Hawkins. It will meet from 6:45-9:45pm at Namasté.

The Religious Science Foundational Class is the primary course of study in the Science of Mind philosophy offered by United Church of Religious Science.  It can be followed by secondary-level classes offered as continued spiritual development. If you are interested in Science of Mind or like what Namasté offers, this class is the place to start!

The Foundational Class, taught by Rev. Kristin Hawkins, will meet on Monday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm in our Center in Long Beach.  The class runs for 10 weeks and includes a special weekend workshop, Friday March 27th 7-9:30pm and Saturday March 28th, 9:30-12:30pm.

If you've taken the Foundational Class, and want to deepen your personal spiritual practices, including meditation and Prayer Treatment, then this class is for you!  During this 8 week credentialed class, you will experience a large and diverse number of ways to create your own path of regular Spiritual Practice.  You will also advance your use of prayer treatment, and learn how to treat for other people.

The Spiritual Practices Class, taught by Rev. Soni Cantrell-Smith, will meet on Monday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm in our Center in Long Beach.  The class runs for 8 weeks.

The emphasis of this class is on expressing spiritual principles through practical means, to produce a more financially prosperous experience in life!   Specifically, each of us will:
 

	Develop a greater awareness of God as the source of our Financial Freedom.
	Realize a greater understanding of the Principles of Financial Freedom.
	Become clear about our current attitudes and beliefs about money.
	Develop new attitudes and beliefs about money that are in alignment with the Principles of Truth.
	Identify the forms of Self-Expression that are in alignment with our Financial Freedom.

Through each of their works you will gain unique insights into the nature of God, man, and the Creative Process approached from the intellectual, feeling, and mystical perspective.

The Roots Class will meet Thursday evenings from 6:45pm to 9:45pm in our Center in Long Beach.  The class, taught by Johanne Bourgeois, RScP, runs for 15 weeks and is open to all who have completed the Foundational Class. The cost of the class is $240 plus the cost of books.  Payment options are available.
 

Practitioner Studies I - "Living the Principles" - October 2008

The first year of the Professional Practitioner Studies is devoted to advancing spiritual awareness and expanding the student's understanding of his/her relation to the universe. The year's study is designed to be complete within itself, preparing the student to live more fully, whether or not she/he chooses to continue with Practitioner II Studies, and to apply for licensing as a Professional Practitioner.

This 30 week class is divided into three terms of 10 weeks each:

	Term 1 - "How Life Gets to Be the Way It Is," based on a study of the Law of Cause and Effect.
	Term 2 - "Living the Life of Choice," based on a study of the Creative Process in the individual.
	Term 3 - "Living Life Fully," a study devoted entirely to the expansion of consciousness.

The Practitioner I class is open to those who have completed 120 hours of certificated Science of Mind education which must include Foundational Class and Spiritual Practices.
